Reflection on shoe sculpture in process

I think that I have worked efficiently in class, so my shoe is almost done. I also think that the quality of my shoe is pretty good. I never really ran into any problems making my shoe. I am pretty much done and just finishing it up with small details. The only challenge I have had so far are the little letters on the shoe. Overall I think my shoe is working out well.

What I Know Now

A representational sculpture is a sculpture that clearly depicts a real object. 

An abstract sculpture is a sculpture that doesn't clearly depict a real object, or doesn't look like it represents anything. 

A Sculpture I Remember

The sculpture that first came to mind was the statue of Magic Johnson outside of the staples center. I was just thinking about my trip to Los Angeles, so I thought of this statue.

My Skills As An Artist.

My main strength is that i work very fast. This leads into my weakness as an artist, which is that sometimes I work too fast. When I work too fast I miss small details in my artwork.

Why I'm taking Intermediate Sculpture

I signed up for this course last year, but the registrar messed up my schedule. So, I didn't have art last year. I signed up for sculpture because making sculptures was my favorite thing to do in art class my freshman year.
